Fountain Creations
Feng Shui fountain I made: May Your Cup Overflow
Feng Shui tabletop creation 1: This one was fun and easy.
Pitcher of Plenty: Fountain I made with painted pottery. Drilling a hole in the pitcher was a challenge.
Feng Shui concept with a solar powered pump
The Seascape: I taught this as a class and burned up a Dremel tool drilling the holes in the shells
Straightforward spouting feature with planting area along rim
The Shishi Odoshi (Deer Scare): Love the thick walled bamboo when creating water features, although it can be tricky to work with. I made a smaller version of this with black bamboo and a solar pump. Very nice!
Hard to see, but these candles set in a bowl. Water is flowing from the tallest candle to the other two and back into the bowl. How do the "candles" stay lit? I'll never tell.
Scarecrow Creations
Big Bad (2204) is one of my earlier attempts at a completely straw scarecrow over a woodern frame. Lots of fishing line and an Elmer's wash, and he lasted for years. |
This is the patient of "HMO-CroWoes". Notice the gourd 'innerds'. I thought that was a nice touch. (Notice his face is similar to an earlier creation of mine -- Rub-A-Dub -- see below) |
This is Doctor and Patient together in 2011's "HMO-CroWoes" |
2004's Ride a Bike was a collaborative effort in creating crows in motion. |
